Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan…a new foodie street haven? 😉 Honestly though, there’s loads of good eateries…Walk a few minutes away from Central (not towards Admiralty) and boom- your in Sheung Wan! Even reserving seats become less of a headache! 🙂 Try it sometime.
Hello there! I have quite the busy day today 🙂 SUPER EXCITED. Off to the gym in a bit but first just wanted to blog. T
Thank you to everyone for reading. I’m so blessed 🙂 I got more than 400 views yesterday! That definitely motivates me to keep on writing, posting and blogging! Now, if only I could magically get you all to comment 😉 *wink wink* Seriously though, thank you…but comment 😉
HAPPY HOUR!! Chocolate Coffee Cocktail for me 🙂 Strong chocolate & coffee taste…with vodka! 🙂 It was just the pick me up I needed after a busy day of castings!
But..oh wait. There’s more… 🙂 Pizza heaven..Here I come! 208 specializes in DELICIOUS “Napoletana pizzas which are made from a special blend of Italian flour, and the freshest ingredients,” using buffalo mozzarella chesse imported from Italy….created by Enzo Carbone. Thank you.
Pizza’s…Here I come 😉
Italian Pulled Chicken- Italian Green Broccoli, Pulled Chicken, mozzarella, onions and chilli! Pizza Heaven I tell you…I’m speechless…I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking! 🙂 But seriously….OMG. TOO. GOOD.
D.O.C.-Cherry Tomato, mozzarella, & basil! Thin crust pizza..oozing cheese..HOT OUT OF THE OVEN! Be careful though..downing the pizza…painful heat! 🙂 The cherry tomatoes are juicy….HOT and juicy. Be warned. Let it cool down first. Trust me.
Special– FIGS!!!! Spinach and eggplants! Once again… HOT thin crusted pizza! The caramelized figs made the cheesy, salty pizza burst with a tint of sweetness! I’m pretty sure I drooled all over the table….
Basically I LOVED IT! Enjoyed this pizzalicious meal a lot! Pizza Galore, Pizza Please? Okok, enough of the pizza punch lines 😉 I’ve been to 208 before, but never tried so many slices of cheesy deliciousness. Definitely coming back here VERY SOON!
Heirloom is this cute, cool little cafe in Sheung Wan I always walk by. Finally one late evening I had the chance to try it!
‘The Daisy’-tequila, triple sec & lemon 🙂 Fresh, light, and sweet! Cute name to boot.
Mexican Street Corn– It was HUGE…and cheesy, w/ hints of butter, lime and chili! I’m a fan of corn.. but, this was just alright for me.
SWEET POTATO FRIES! This is the first time I’ve ordered sweet potato fries in HK…and Gosh… brings back fond, FOND memories! 🙂 They were hot and crispy dipped in this tangy tartar butter sauce! 🙂 MMM MMM Good 😀
‘Sumac & Spiced Crusted Salmon’ w/ Coconut Rice & seasonal veggies- I had a bite of the salmon! It was really nice, juicy and moist. Middle section of the filet was slightly raw and translucent…actually just the way I like it! Slightly undercooked 🙂 But could’ve used a little bit more seasoning.
My- ‘Not Your Mama’s Grilled Cheese’ w/ side salad- I’m a HUGE fan of grilled cheese!! The pieces of breaded were buttery and crispy slapped between cheesy goodness…Sigh,it definitely satisfied my hunger pangs 🙂
Heirloom is a quaint, fun, and cute eatery. The concept is great but it misses it’s mark with a few of the dishes and it’s also slightly pricier than other cafe’s around Sheung Wan and even Soho. Hmmm, next time I’ll come back for their brunch.
