A (Holi)day in DTLA and Santa Monica

A (Holi)day in DTLA and Santa Monica 🙂

Sorry for the lack of posts ladies and gents! I’ve been home for the holiday and trying to spend as much time with the fam bam.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you lovely people and read all about my holiday in DTLA and Santa Monica.

11:40am: We arrive at B.S. Taqueria by Chef Ray Garcia early enough to make sure we score seats. It’s a no reservation spot and it fills up during peak lunch hours.

Sis, Mami, Luke and I grab a corner spot and await the Mexican feast coming our way.

Plates of nachos, ceviches, several tacos and drinks are ordered devoured. The food is delicious but a bit on the pricier side.

12:30pm: we are done with lunch and take a stroll around DTLA to burn off some calories.

12:45pm: We go inside neighboring Bottega Louie to admire the beautiful desserts on display! We walk away with some goodies.

1:00pm: Then we head over to Philz Coffee for some much needed caffeine! Mint Mojito’s for everyone. We had to walk across the street to take a picture with that insta-worthy Angel wings… 😉 can you spot the Philz coffee in the picture?

5:00pm: Mother and daughter time. We walk all around Santa Monica Place, 3rd Street Promenade…and we shopped a LOT! (Not pictured: the 6-7 bags on the floor)

8:45pm: We finish the night off with good ol’ In N Out! 🙂

Peace, Jess #eatwithjess #seewithjess
