Adventures in Phuket!

Still feeling the post-holiday blues? You can read more about some of my old travel posts here and here! There’s plenty more travel blogs too on my blog. Here’s a lil’ recap of my vacation days in beautiful Phuket. Adventures in Phuket for my sis’ birthday trip this past Chinese New Year with lots of food, sun and fun! <3 We love you, jie.

We saw this beauty unfold right before our eyes. The sunset in Phuket is simply stunning.

Post- massage w/ my mom and feeling great. Thanks Renaissance Resorts in Phuket for our lovely spa day and awesome service during our stay!

Happy Birthday Jie! Jie’s big 30 birthday dinner was celebrated at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale (a boutique hotel about an hour away- 2 hours in traffic from our resort- and overlooking the Andaman Sea. Thanks Luke for this great dinner.)

Thai Boxing Classes at 8:30am! Buns, legs, arms were basically useless by the afternoon.

Mom Tri’s Kitchen. I ordered a Thai styled whole sea bass fish. That sauce was epic.

Another night of cocktails and dinner at nearby JW Marriot Resort.

Stunning.

We all signed up for a private cooking class and market visit at Brass Wok! Making my own Tom Yum Goong. Sooooo good!!

Fresh local ingredients from the market for our cooking class! Super fun and delicious I might add.

This stall had the most delicious roti and Thai Iced Tea. I wish I ate less for breakfast this morning.

This roti is possibly the best roti I’ve ever had in my life. Extremely wafer thin and crispy with just the right amount of sweet and savory in each bite.

Several batches of Thai Iced Teas were enjoyed during this trip and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lots of <3, Jess
