Boozy buffet Brunch at Zuma in Central. Zuma is known for it’s take on Japanese food with a Western, modern twist. Zuma is situated on the 5th/6th floor of a spacious spot inside Landmark, Central. We were a big group celebrating Dani’s birthday! Boozy birthday buffet. We all picked from the buffet brunch options. Some people chose to drink- others didn’t. I went with the drinking option with free flow alcohol (red or white wine, champagne, sake or bloody mary) along with the buffet spread. It’ll set you back roughly HK$750 a person (including tax, service charge.)
We also ordered an extra sharing platter of wagyu beef, scallops, chicken, cod and grilled veggies to split for the group.
This was one of my many plates from the buffet spread. God, those chicken wings were terrific. They were my favorite thing from the buffet.
Here’s a close up shot of those wings again. Zuma has a few buffet stations: grilled foods, sushi, sashimi and some small Japanese appetizers.
I ordered a few glasses of the white wine and was definitely feeling tipsy!
Last but not least was the Zuma dessert platter. We were getting excited cause we thought it was FROYO! But it wasn’t… it was the soft creamery ice cream.
Some close up views of the dessert platter. Overall the food was just okay but the company was definitely fun. The drinking was also fun- we stayed from 1:30pm to almost 4pm. Last call is 3:30pm for food and drinks. I don’t know if I’ll come back to Zuma for the buffet brunch though- it’s definitely more on the pricier side.
