Brunching at Bistrot B in Rosewood Beijing! You can check out my post about where we inhaled delicious Peking duck and Chinese fare at Country Kitchen in Rosewood Beijing
Sooo pretty! The weather was nice and cool and I got lucky- not too bad on the AQI this day. Flowers were blooming! <3 They weren’t cherry blossoms but they sure were pretty.
We walked to Rosewood and made a left at the lobby- keep walking and you’ll hit the beautiful, bright and big Bistrot B restaurant serving contemporary French-style bistro fare.
The brunch menu is quite extensive with two courses being RMB310 or three courses at RMB 350. We both opted for the two courses brunch option which comes with one hangover drink.
The bloody mary was my hangover drink choice and it was bloooooody good.
I ordered the Steak Tartare with Bistrot Fries as one of my courses for lunch.
A close up view of the crispy and crunchy Bistrot B fries- I gobbled these right up.
The steak tartare was juicy and flavorful. And, just look at that egg yolk. #YolkPorn. The tartare was a huge serving- I actually didn’t finish eating a sizable portion of it!
I went with the French Omelette, Gruyère, Mushrooms, Smoked Bacon dish as my second course. Don’t let this picture deceive you. It was mighty big.
Escargots en Cocotte, Farm Egg, Black Truffle Smoked Bacon dish! I didn’t try it but came out piping hot and smelled divine.
The baked bread selection was damn good! I devoured the warm almond croissant easily…and only wanted more- but was insanely stuffed.
Bistrot B is a beautiful brunch spot. It’s a bit pricier (come on- it’s hotel price) than other brunch spots in Beijing but it’s definitely worth a try.
Lots of <3, Jess
