The newly opened Le Salon De The de Joel Robuchon is causing quite the buzz in IFC. The name Robuchon is synonymous for fine dining. I’ve been to the extravagantly good fine dining staple Robuchon (POST, Read all about it!) And…boy, was it good. The luxe, contemporary chic L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon first opened up in HK in 2006, and has since expanded with Le Jardin(dining table), and Le Salon which is also encased in the Landmark, but at a much cheaper price!! Le Salon is famous for their afternoon tea sets, delectable pastries, and freshly baked breads, croissants, and gourmet sandwiches!!! All relatively priced!!! I had a deluxe ham and cheese baguette sandwich at only $48!!!!!
The awesome news…they’ve expanded and JUST opened in IFC!!! It’s the same dark woods and bold reds, snazzy, contemporary chic staple! Right above City Super lies Le Salon! Kristen and I bonded over girl talk and good food at their soft opening the other night! 🙂
Too many choices….What to choose? What to choose??? 😉
A small fresh selection of bread…..EEKKKK!!!! The Robuchon does carry an amazing assortment of bread!!!!
We both had the La Tomate en Salade, Mozzarella et Huile d’ Olive Au Basilic…Fresh Tomato Mozzarella Salad w/ Olive Oil & Basil Oil. $140. Fresh, springy, and tarty tomatoes. The mozzarella cheese was light, springy and fluffy!! NMMM 🙂
For such a light dinner we split the Chocolate cake and Mixed Berries Cheesecake!!! YUM! 🙂
