FoodPanda

As much that you see on my food blog, I doooooooo love to eat out. Too much. So once in a while, I do loveeeeeee stay in. I get a lot of work done at home, especially with my food blog. A lot of writing in, replying emails (thanks everyone- really appreciate all the fan mail), replying inquires, you get the gist.

So at home, when I’m feeling like a good ‘vegging’ night in I use Hong Kong food delivery services quite often. But I discovered FoodPanda a while back. I liked how sleek, simple and easy the website was. The online website allows users to log into their account and automatically saves your information for easy access and allows you to pay online! Its the only online service so far that allows you to do that. Pretty nifty. FoodPanda Hong Kong here I come!

OMG. Perfectly filling, soothing and delicious. Its so easy to get hot, delicious food right at your door step. THIS IS why I will be using Food Panda again! 🙂

Foodpanda is already in 45 countries and has become the largest food ordering services available- recently Foodpanda Hong Kong acquired Dial-a-Dinner, Koziness.com, SOHO Delivery, and Ring-a-Dinner to really dominate Hong Kong’s ever expanding food delivery markets.

The easy to use website…Foodpanda 🙂 I was craving Bak Kut Teh and decided to go with MalayMama. I didn’t want to leave the house, so foodpanda came to the rescue. It said it would take about 40 minutes. I waited a bit longer, but it was a busy Saturday, so perhaps there was a slight delay!

I ordered a side of beef brisket curry– which was piping hot. Look at the thick cuts of beef briskets slathered and splashed in the thick spicy curry sauce. Perfectly hot! Lunch is served.

Ordered enough food for 3 people. With the cost a little bit over $500. 3 Bak Kut Tehs, 1 beef brisket and 1 Laksa.

What I was craving. The Bak Kut Teh肉骨茶. Its a Chinese soup that’s extremely popular in Malaysia and Singapore. The soup consists of Oolong tea which gives it its herbally taste and helps dilute the fat consumed from the pork bone! But boy is it good. Chock full of spices & herbs. The broth is absolutely fragrant and you can pair with either rice or noodles!

We’re ready to go! Its nicely separated which I really like so the noodles don’t get soggy and you can portion control your carbs! 🙂

They have a 20HKD off for breakfast orders with Foodpanda promo code BREKKIE20 and also first time customers offer of 50 HKD off with promo code FP201502.
