Ever since I was younger a lot of our short family trips would involve us heading over to Las Vegas for the weekend. Since I’m now living in Hong Kong, Macau is just a short 1 hour boat ride away from us which makes for an ideal getaway. We stayed overnight at The Parisian and for brunch the next morning decided on going French at Brasserie in The Parisian, Cotai!
We made a lunch booking but decided to go a bit earlier and Brassiere was COMPLETELY packed. They couldn’t accommodate us until our reserved timeso we ventured down into the casino to do a little gambling.
After 20 minutes we came up and were seated. The atmosphere is good, food’s pretty good but service was a bit on the slow side.
We all ordered from their lunch set menu. $168 MOP for 2 courses or $198 for 3 courses. I went with the smoked salmon with dill sour cream as my appetizer.
Another appetizer 2 people from our group ordered was the escargot in puff pastry.
The four of us all ordered the Parisian Steak Frites. Pan fried hanging tender with french fries. My steak tasted pretty good until I got to the middle and it was a bit on the cold side. :/ The portion size all came out differently. Some steak pieces (and fries portion) were much bigger and some were much smaller.
And that was our mini break in Macau…let me know what you like to do in Macau!
