Grand Central

🙂 A trip down memory lane. Grand Central is an American style (and American sized portioned… every dish is huge humongous) sports bar and grill. It’s two storied with giant screens broadcasting the latest game, race or match. It’s laid back, chill, and just very comforting… 🙂 So, after a movie at Elements, a few of us walked up to the upper podium area, Civic Square.

My meal (I didn’t take a close up of my actual meal…but J thankfully snapped this) 🙂 I ordered the Pacific Salmon as my main. Seared & Served on a Remoulade of White Beans & Dill w/ Soy Sauce Vinaigrette. And the salmon filet was huge….

A Lime Soda for me, and I had a sip of A’s Bloody Mary...which was sooo good! One of the better ‘Bloody Mary’s’ that I’ve ever tasted.

Warm Crunchy Garlic Bread

To go with the boys’ New England Clam Chowder… HUGEEEEE Portion. Creamy, milky, smooth and packed with yummy seafood.

For us 2 girls, We split the Lobster Bisque w/ Cognac. This was just okay. Way too salty…

Freshly Shucked Oysters 🙂 w/ a pinch of lemon, horseradish cocktail sauce and a dab of tabasco sauce..MMMM

J’s ‘WOW-sized’ 12 Oz Black Angus USA Prime Strip Loin Steak…I had a small bite and it was juicy, perfectly cooked and tender.

C ordered the Chef’s Burger of the Month….This month, Foie Gras Burger accompanied with a mountain of crispy thinly cut fries and that burger….American sized for sure…it was almost the size of my face!

There’s that Foie Gras…. 🙂

A’s ‘The Gatsby Steak Sandwich’ Sliced Beef Rib-Eye on Crispy Onion & Monterey Jack w/ Smoked Tomato Quarters….just that description alone. Oh my.

Needless to say, no dessert needed 🙂
