Kanada-Ya Ramen helms from Fukuoka, Japan and has quite the cult following. Their soup base has been boiled for 18+ hours which definitely gives it their signature rich, intense and delicious flavor. My go-to ramen spot in Causeway Bay is Ichiran but after seeing a massive line around 8pm- my cousin took me to another spot that he likes to go to in CWB and we were both not disappointed. Thank you Lu Lu for the intro! Kanada-Ya will definitely be added into my updated Top 5 Ramen Spots in Hong Kong!!!
My loveeeeeeee!! No, seriously. Ramen > Any other Food Group. #Especiallyduringthewinter
My order! I’m a terribly messy person and I couldn’t decide between normal or extra spring onions. I loveeeeee me some fresh spring onions.
My Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen HK$93 was sooooo worth it. Ample spicy minced pork bits plopped in the center atop my gigantic bowl of noodles. There was so much flavor, richness and taste. The spiciness level is quite spicy though- you have been warned!
Lu Lu’s Orignal Tonkatsu Ramen for HK$78.
Another closeup of my amazing Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen!! Seriously. It is goooooooooood. I might have been super hungry when I tried it- but I reallllllllllly enjoyed it. But do try for yourself and let me know what you think.
We also got this seared char siu side order for HK$25 which was nicely grilled, seared and immensely rich.
Super filling and satisfying dinner!
