HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! With the Chinese New Year festivities winding down (Whoops, For God sake’s it’s almost March!) Well, I figured…why not bring the spirit back up again!! Okay, Okay…it’s just a late post!
I had a photoshoot and interview celebrating Chinese New Year with Yu Jie a few weeks back! Thanks Leona! Find out what we had to eat….WARNING READERS- SNAKE bits & pieces were consumed!!! (GASP!)
What I loved most about this interview? THE FOOD! SNAKE INFUSED DISHES!!! (Shiver, Shiver)
Snake Meat (light pink color), Bak Choy wrapped in Bean Curd! Topped off with Salmon Roe & Blackberries…. The Snake meat was surprisingly tender, moist, and juicy! Nothing like I was expecting! In a good way.
Creamy & Sweet Pumpkin Tofu, Snake Meat, Asparagus bits Soup! This was interesting..I couldn’t really taste the snake meat…it was rather creamy, rich and very sweet. Tasted more like dessert.
