Resort tour of Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali

This is hands down one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! KK and I went for a much needed vacay at the beautiful Alila Villas Uluwatu resort in Bali.

We landed in Bali, went through customs and was greeted by the friendly Alila staff members. Alila helped accommodate transport to and from the airport for us. We got in the comfortable car and was off on a short 35 minutes drive to the resort.

The 5 star Bali resort is perched on a serene cliff top overlooking the Indian Ocean. Can you just take a moment and take this picture in.

Time for a quick outfit change and for us to hit the pool area! We would wake up every morning, walk or buggy down for breakfast and a quick swim in the giant infinity pool area.

At Alila, we started every morning with a delicious breakfast at their Western restaurant spot called Cire. Coffee was a must every morning. 🙂

Just look at the view! Breakfast fit for a King! They offered various breakfast options every morning. We would pick some Western savory dishes and also try out the Indonesian options 🙂

Now…let me show you some pics of our 1 bedroom pool villa. At Alila Villas Uluwatu (you can tell by the name) – all the room options are villas. Every villa has their very own pool!

Blue, peaceful and simply stunning. This is the backyard….. 🙂 I could get used to this.

The style in the rooms are minimal, clean and simple.

The comfiest bed!!!!!

Every day after breakfast we would head over to the main pool area and go for a swim! The water temperature was just right. We were so lucky. The sun was shining, blue skies with big white clouds over us every single day.

The infinity pool…..overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean <3 I think I’ve left my heart in Bali.

Dresses all day 🙂

I am not lying. But KK and I had lunch every single day at this Indonesian restaurant at the resort called The Warung. Yeah. It’s THAT good.

Various selection of sauces to go with our meal and starters.

Whole fish grilled very nicely.

We devoured the mixed satays every single day. We sometimes had this multiple times a day! It was incredibly tasty- full of flavors and really packed a punch. Don’t get me started on the satay sauce.

We drank a lot of coconut juice on this trip.

Checking out the amazing view at the sunset cabana!

Ordering cocktails at the Sunset Cabana and taking in the breeze and sounds of the ocean.

With the best view and travel buddy a girl could ask for. 🙂 More travel posts to come!
