View 62 by Paco Roncero is a beautiful sight. Literally. Perched on the 62nd floor of the Hopewell Center in Wan Chai, it’s owned by giant food group- King Parrot Group (37 restaurants and counting under their belt) and they have bought 2 Michelin starred chef Paco Roncero to oversee it (literally).

Jie and I were invited to a Sunday brunch buffet we could never forget. We went at 12:30 and left close to 4pm! LONG BRUNCH….just enough time to make it to IECC for Church. (I mean…the view was simply stunning. Fella’s, this would be an ideal place to take your ladies for Valentines ) The view is….breathtakingly beautiful.

Twas an amazing brunch buffet!

Fresh salad to start off with. Look at those juicy yellow tomatoes! That would be Pumpkin mash in the back, along with some smoked salmon!

Ahhhh….That’s a better view… That little spoon is filled with melon caviar…! MMMMMMM And, a small plate of seared scallop.

Plates Galore! We ate a lot of food…..But I didn’t manage to document all of it…jie and I were enthralled in good conversation and good food!

A chef working on a molecular type of dish….passion fruit sherbet!

The main course…Barracuda Fish in a asparagus stew, clams, and sea cucumber!

View 62…is essentially a rotating restaurant (it takes about 110 minutes to rotate 360 degrees back to the beginning point) …and here we are overlooking Happy Valley, Causeway Bay and beyond! The view…is breathtaking.

Lamb Shank. It was tender, juicy, and not as gamey as other restaurants. It’s not mind blowing, but pretty good!

Dessert Buffet Time!!!

Jie’s Chocolate Molten Cake, Apple Crumble Pie with Chocolate and Vanilla Sauce. I had bites of everything.

Fresh Fruits for moi!!!!!

I skipped on the dessert…cause I wanted these scoops of freshly made ice cream! Chocolate, Strawberry, and Caramel Biscuits ice cream scoops!! Delicious.
