Eat with Jess …in Las Vegas!!! <3
So after a very blessed and fast flight over from San Fran to Las Vegas! Thank you! We ended up in LAS VEGAS. The infamous city of sin.
Why hello Vegas…Here we come!!! We arrived to Vegas at close to 4 in the morning….
And I ended up in the engine… 😉 the pilot was nice enough to let me take some pictures inside! Haha.
DAY 1… (or a few hours after the flight…we rolled out of bed…for BREAKFAST) Wynn Hotel Dining…Room Service 🙂 (Side note: We stayed at the Wynn…so this is a Wynn heavy post)
Corn Beef Hash, Freshly Scrambled Eggs, Buttered Foccacia Bread on the Left, Strawberry Smoothie in the Middle, and an Eggs Benedict w/ a Potato Tart on the Right. I had the Eggs Benedict. I asked for Hollandaise sauce on the side (that way I can control how much cream/sauce I’m using!) Eat Clean…(post) right? ;) I really do love me my breakfast (post)!
Off to the Wedding Ceremony!! 🙂 It was cold..oh so cold!
Congrats C & K! Such a beautiful wedding…. 🙂 After the festivities …We went to grab a late lunch at Red 8!
I was craving Kung Pao Chicken US$19.So thats what I got!! Ummm..it was probably one of the most expensive Kung Pao chickens I’ve ever had…….But EXACTLY what I was wanting to eat.
Dinner…Wedding Dinner Banquet feast! That’s the dessert EVERYONE gets. Woah. And an open bar…Here comes trouble!
DAY 2 (Morning Room Service)
I needed to lighten up...Fresh fruit platter to start the morning with…:)
We went to Wing Lei- Wynn’s fine dining Chinese restaurant
Fancy lunch…beautiful decor, but sad to say….the food was definitely not worth it! :/
In the afternoon we walked along the Las Vegas strip! Took in the Bellagio Water Show.
Viva Las Vegas…I definitely have a soft spot for this place! So many memories….
Then off to Dinner…
Thank you so much! Dinner at Wynn’s Japanese fine dining restaurant- Mizumi-“which has “Best Chef on The Strip” by Vegas Seven, Chef Devin Hashimoto uses his fresh approach to Japanese robatayaki, teppanyaki and sushi at Mizumi.”
Some snaps of the AMAZING dinner!
Lobster Sashimi Platter!!! It was huge…and delicious. Scrumptious, juicy, sweet and flavourful.
Teppanyaki! Didn’t manage to snap any of the sashimi or sushi pieces!! Darn…
Ohmi Wagyu Strip Loin* US$260. Oh(Mi) GOD this was soooooooo good! I don’t even know how to explain this. The wagyu beef strips practically melted into your mouth. Each bite was savoury, flavourful, soft and tender! One of the best pieces of beef that I’ve had.
Chawanmushi, Japanese steamed egg custard and a load of black truffle shavings...This pricey egg custard was served VERY hot…and smelled heavenly. As for taste, I would save the money for the casino 😉
DAY 3 (Morning Room Service…I really could get used to this…)
Breakfast of champions….Scrambled Egg White Omelete w/ Smoked Salmon :)YUM. Then it was back to San Fran (post)!!!
<3 Always, Jess
